Current Workaround
For now, you can:
Option 1: Share Login Credentials (Not Recommended)
- Share your email and password with team members
- ⚠️ Security Risk: Everyone uses the same account
- ⚠️ No Activity Tracking: Can’t see who did what
- ⚠️ Billing Risk: Everyone has access to payment info
Option 2: Contact Support for Multi-User Setup
- Email: support@certlister.com
- Request manual multi-user configuration
- Available for organizations with specific needs
- May require Enterprise plan
Option 3: Upgrade to Custom Enterprise Plan
- Unlimited team members
- Custom role configurations
- Dedicated support for setup
- Contact: support@certlister.com
Why We’re Building This
Team collaboration is essential for organizations that:
- Issue certificates across multiple departments
- Have dedicated staff for certificate creation
- Need separation of duties (certificate issuers vs billing managers)
- Require audit trails for compliance
We’re prioritizing this feature based on customer feedback. Thank you for your patience as we build a robust, secure team management system.
When Will This Be Available?
We don’t have a specific release date yet, but team management is on our roadmap for 2026.

What You Can Do Today
While waiting for team management features:
1. Use a Shared Email Account
Instead of personal emails, use:
- certifications@yourorganization.com
- training@yourcompany.edu
Benefits:
- Multiple people can access the email inbox
- Certificate notifications go to a shared mailbox
- Less dependent on one person
2. Document Your Process
Create a workflow document:
- Who creates certificates
- When to issue vs revoke
- How to handle verification requests
- Where certificates are stored
Share this document with anyone who needs to understand your certification process.
3. Use Bulk Import for Efficiency
If you issue many certificates at once:
- Prepare data in CSV format
- One person does the bulk import
- Reduces need for multiple users

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is team management available on the Free tier?
A: When released, team management will likely be a Pro or Enterprise feature. The Free tier will remain single-user. We’ll announce pricing details closer to launch.
Q: Can I create multiple free accounts for different team members?
A: Each free account is a separate organization with separate certificates. This doesn’t allow collaboration. We recommend waiting for team management features or contacting support for a multi-user setup.
Q: Will my data transfer when team management is released?
A: Yes. When we launch team management, you’ll be able to invite team members to your existing organization without losing any certificates or data.
Q: Can I get early access or beta test this feature?
A: We’ll offer a beta program before general release. Email support@certlister.com with subject “Team Management Beta” to join the waiting list.
Q: What if I need this feature immediately?
A: Contact support@certlister.com to discuss Enterprise options or custom solutions. We can potentially provide early access or manual configuration for urgent needs.
Alternative: Multiple Organizations
If you have completely separate use cases:
Example: You run two separate training programs that should never share certificates.
Solution: Create separate CertLister accounts:
- Use different email addresses
- Each account is a distinct organization
- Separate certificate databases
- Separate billing
When to use this:
- Distinct business units
- Different companies you manage
- Separate training programs with no overlap
When NOT to use this:
- If you want team collaboration (wait for team features)
- If you need unified reporting across programs
- If certificates should be in one organization
